Awaaz

We believe in co-existence hence, we always try to socially engage ourselves with the community which helps in reducing human-animal conflict and to reduce the suffering of the community dogs on the streets. Not only, we do this through social media with the help of education/solution-oriented videos. In addition, we also physically interact with people around and run and participate in several programs to make them aware of the laws and simple methods to look after the community dogs in a humane way.

REFLECTIVE COLLAR DRIVE

Life on the streets is never easy. Many dogs surviving on streets become victims of rash driving. Hence, we try to reduce such accidents by putting a reflective collar on the dogs in the nearby localities which helps alert the driver about the dog's presence in low-light conditions.

ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION DRIVE

Rabies still is one of the prime reasons that people fear stray dogs and this fear manifests into cruelty at some point so with an objective to eradicate this fear, our team head out on the streets every alternative month and vaccinate around 100 dogs.

ON-SPOT TREATMENTS

A lot of people from the nearby localities approach us whenever a dog living around is in need of medical attention. We tend to such emergencies and provide on-spot treatments till the dog recovers 100% and his health is fully restored.

WINTER COAT DRIVE

Delhi winters are harsh and the temperature dips to bone- chilling levels so to save the community dogs from hypothermia, we distribute roughly 300 winter coats each year to the labour families who look after community dogs nearby.

WORKSHOP

We organize small-scale workshops to educate people and kids about simple steps to keep the community dogs safe from harm's way and not to hurt or pelt stones at them as they see us as their only hope for survival on the streets and in a society.

WATER BOWL DRIVE

Water is a daily requirement for the survival of entire lifeforms so we constantly distributed and stationed cemented water bowls in the nearby localities so the community dogs have a clean source of water available to quench their thirst.

CHAIN OF HELPING HANDS

We involve several labour families and street hawkers in our mission to provide a safe life to the community dogs by providing them dog food so they can feed them during our absence as well as, report any medical emergencies.

EVENTS

We host mini-events within local groups and communities wherein, our agenda is to help people change their perspective about dogs and how we can befriend them instead of treating and considering them as an object of hatred.

Together, We Are Their Second Chance

Every contribution you make becomes a second chance for a life that was once ignored, injured, or abandoned. Your donation helps us provide urgent medical care, daily nutritious meals, safe shelter, and long-term rehabilitation for dogs who have nowhere else to go. It turns pain into recovery, fear into trust, and survival into a life filled with dignity. Because of you, a paralysed dog walks again, a starving dog eats with comfort, and a rescued soul finally experiences love. Not as a moment, but as a forever.
