At the heart of our mission lies the vision of Hipaws, the grassroots rescue and recovery initiative established to provide a safe haven for community dogs, often referred to as 'indies.' Our primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and offer lifetime care to injured, abandoned, or elderly dogs that struggle to survive on the streets.
Hipaws is more than just a shelter; it is a recovery home designed with the needs of our furry friends in mind. The physical space features well-maintained kennels, open areas for the dogs to play, and designated feeding zones where they receive the necessary treatments and, most importantly, the love they deserve. This environment is crucial in the rehabilitation process, ensuring each dog feels secure and cared for.
Hipaws is rooted in a community movement that brings together feeders, volunteers, and donors who selflessly contribute their time, resources, and care. Our efforts extend beyond immediate rescue—Hipaws emphasizes long-term care and education, advocating for humane solutions to the challenges faced by street dogs. It is this united spirit that transforms Hipaws into a living ecosystem of kindness, offering a second chance at life for every dog we help.
Donations to HiPaws are 80G tax-exempt and the NGO is CSR certified for corporate partnerships.
